As a 2026 Sine Institute Fellow, Kwame offers this insightful and riviting seminar series exploring how stories of all types shape our sense of identity and connection as an American. Writers, artists and scholars will reflect on the power of poetry and storytelling through a series of talks and discussions, sparking thoughtfulness on how the varied voices in American weave together to tell its story - past, present and future.
Kwame will be joined by special guest, renowned musician Matrini Garrett for this unique event.

Author Study with Kwame Alexander is an interactive, virtual author visit series that brings Kwame and other notable authors into classrooms.
Author Study makes virtual author visits easy, affordable, ongoing and, most of all, fun!
Each Author Study features a book talk and read-aloud from a favorite book, a brief writing craft lesson, a conversation with a special guest author (sometimes two!) with time for questions from students, and a live Q&A session with Kwame taking select questions from attendees in the chat.
