Kwame's Great Day in Poetry series culminates in this stellar signature event as part of Lincoln Center's poet-in-residence Mahogany Browne's Seen-Sound-Scribe series.

Poets Nikki Giovanni, Mahogany Browne, Tony Medina, Evie Shockley and Quincy Troupe whose work is included in Kwame's newest book This Is The Honey: An Anthology of Contemporary Black Poets, will join him onstage for an evening of readings, discussion and Q&A centered around the book and the importance of Black poetry. Composer and pianist Donal Fox will set the tone with musical selections during the event and a DJ will bring the party during the booksigning to follow the event through Cafe Con Libros.
