Kwame teams up with the NEA (National Education Association) for a special, weeklong Read Across America event!
Kwame will read his Newbery Medal-winning novel The Crossover live cover-to-cover, accompanied by jazz bassist Amy Shook, starting on Monday, March 3rd. Each day will feature a new episode through March 7th. And the best part? It's free!
Each episode will air live at 8:00am (ET) every morning and you can hear it live by going to neatoday.com. And, if you can't catch it live or want to hear an episode again, all episodes will be available on YouTube via the same link so you can catch up anytime!

Kwame and friend/fellow author Olivia Cole will sit down together at The Open Word Bookstore to discuss their new books - Kwame's Black Star and Olivia's The Empty Place.
Come learn about the compelling stories at the center of these books and hear Kwame and Olivia discuss their lives as writers and share engaging and inspiring stories with the audience. A book signing will follow.
This event is free and open to the public, but purchase of at least one of their books is required for the signing line.
