Kwame hosts the Coretta Scott King Award 55th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, June 28th at 7:00pm (Pacific Time) at the American Libraries Association annual conference.

The event's theme of "Free to Read" commemmorates the power of African-American children's literature and the celebration recognizes the legacy of the Coretta Scott King Book Award by celebrating this years' winners. Dare Coulter is the 2024 award winner for her work on Kwame's "An American Story".
